Vanessa T. Marcotte FoundationOur speaker will be Caroline Tocci, Co-Founder of the Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation. On a summer afternoon, Vanessa Marcotte left her family home in Princeton, MA to go for a short walk. She was tragically killed by an act of violence. More than 600 women are assaulted each day. The VTM Foundation advocates for a world where women are safe and free to live boldly. We strive to achieve this goal by partnering with organizations that provide educational programs and mentorship opportunities to promote female empowerment and gender equality.

Fitness FriendsOur speaker will be John Barrett, a cancer survivor who struggled to regain his fitness after his cancer operation. He was able to recover from the Wipple Procedure surgery and was jogging 5 months after his operation. He became a certified fitness trainer in 2014. John leads the Fitness Friends program at the Healing Garden, which creates and implements a customized training approach for each participant with supportive ‘friend teams’.

Abby's HouseAbby’s House was founded in Worcester, MA in 1976. A nonprofit organization, it provides shelter and affordable housing, as well as advocacy and support services, to homeless, battered, and low-income women, with or without children. Over the years, Abby's House has helped more than 13,000 women and their children reclaim and rebuild their lives, empowering them to lead self-directed lives filled with dignity and hope.
