Live for Liv (at BSA, Knox Trail Resident Camp, Bolton)
Just seventeen years old her life was ended by a tragic moment of domestic violence. She was killed with a gunshot wound from her father who also shot and critically injured her mother, Jody Marchand, on February 1, 2010. While Olivia's life might have ended tragically, she led a life full of joy, love and had many dreams. She was excited to finish high school where she had achieved highest honors and was about to begin a new chapter at the University of Vermont.
She loved her friends and family. She loved her life. In her last few weeks she had embraced yoga, meditation, and was studying buddhism. She was at peace. This foundation’s mission is to spread the love and joy she always shared with others and to carry out her dreams she wasn’t able to finish. While one negative act can send waves of violence and hate, our mission is to create positive energy sending a ripple of hope and change in her honor.
Our mission is to build an organization in memory of Olivia which continues her love of the outdoors, nature, gardening and cooking.
